Got An Eye for Great Park Photos?
Have you got a great eye for taking park photos? FBBNP is currently taking donations of digital images of the park for use on our redesigned website. We would like to add a “culture” montage banner and are particularly interested in photos with rock art and other evidence of human beings in the park. Our other subject in progress is the park’s prehistoric fossils. We may also be able to use your photos in our print newsletter, which is changing over to color format.
Appropriate credit will be given for any photo used. Email Courtney [Email address: friendsdirector #AT# yahoo.com - replace #AT# with @ ] if you are interested in donating your beautiful images of Big Bend National Park.

Thank you Peregrine Hill Winery!
Thank you to Peregrine Hill Winery for repeating your promotion for Friends of Big Bend National Park. For the last two summers, Peregrine Hill wine bottles came with a special tag, which contained an entry form for a drawing. The winners received a special bronze sculpture of a peregrine falcon titled “The Prize”, from artist Bob Coffee’s Big Bend Wildlife Series. Peregrine Hill Winery donated a portion of their proceeds to Friends of Big Bend during this promotion, and the tags included information on these special, threatened birds. Thank you Peregrine Hill Winery for your continued support of Friends of Big Bend National Park and of falcon conservation!
